Release 3.0.3
The core of the Global JXDM is contained in the following files:
| Documentation | ||
| jxdm-3.0.3.xls | 1724kb | Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of types and properties. |
| Change Log | A cumulative list of changes from previous releases. | |
| The Global JXDM Schemas | ||
| jxdm.xsd | 2760kB | The Global JXDM root schema. |
| Global JXDM Schema Archives | ||
| jxdm-3.0.3.zip | 644kB | The complete set of schemas, rolled up in an archive. This archive includes the Global JXDM schema, as well as the code table schemas. |
| jxdm-3.0.3-no-doc.zip | 184kB | Same as above except this archive has been stripped of all documentation, i.e. all annotation elements have been removed. |
| Supporting Schemas | ||
| appinfo.xsd | 1k | The appinfo.xsd schema is used to define the structure of the appinfo elements of the Global JXDM schemas. The appinfo elements are annotations that provide information for tools, stylesheets, and other applications. |
The Global JXDM schema is also dependent on schemas that represent code tables taken from specifications and publications created by other groups and organizations. The Global JXDM imports and references these code tables to maintain the independence of the various specifications. Each schema is fully annotated with documentation. If you need smaller undocumented schemas, it is relatively easy to write a script or XML Style Sheet to filter out the XML annotations. There are some examples here. You can also create undocumented schemas with the Schema Subset Generation Tool.
For each of these schemas we also include a proxy schema that acts as an intermediary between an external schema and the Global JXDM. Proxy schemas add SuperType attributes to external simple types. This allows an external type (for example "vehicle make code") to be used as a field value along with Global JXDM attributes, such as "sensitivity" and "effective date".
